The Cabinet of Ministers is preparing a social housing program

By order of the President, a social housing program is being developed. This was announced by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Edil Baisalov at a joint meeting of the parliamentary groups “Eldik” and “Ala-Too.”

He made this statement in response to lawmakers’ questions about providing housing to those in need through mortgage programs.

“The State Mortgage Company transfers real estate into citizens’ ownership. Social housing, however, is not a mortgage — it is rental housing. The program is intended for orphans and other vulnerable groups. We are currently developing it,” Edil Baisalov noted.
